Westminster Knitters and Crocheters are busy with projects for various community groups. We are proudly making Twiddlemuffs for Alzheimer’s or dementia patients in Topeka and the surrounding community. We have also become a distribution point for Knitted Knockers for breast cancer patients and are supplying the cancer center in Topeka as well as patients across the state. The National Shaken Baby Syndrome project is another of our many activities. We make purple baby hats which are given to all newborns in participating Kansas hospitals. These hats are given to each newborn in participating hospitals in the state. We meet on the 2nd and 4th Monday at the church from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and welcome anyone with an interest. We will also help you learn to knit or crochet or provide help with a current project. Come join us for fun and fellowship. For more information call the church office.
